XMPP is a decentralized IM protocol. Google uses it for Gtalk, a popular service for it is jabber.org, and I personally use dukgo.com

This is the credit union I make my car payments to. They like to call whenever I'm ten days behind in my payment. Good heavens! Slap the cuffs on that deadbeat! This is the first time I've bothered to call them back (out of annoyance, since this call woke me up.) The guy I spoke to said that they give us a two-week grace period. Then, stop calling me!

On the plus side, I did find out that I'll only have to deal with them for another 15 months. Then, the car is paid off.

@crow Friendship is Magic, but not all Magic is Friendship.

Um, not to sound like a jerk, but if you aren't paying for something on time, then you aren't on time. I don't see how that's their fault. Also, being late on payments hurts your credit, which can cause problems in the future.

@Crow: Sure! time flies when your having fun, after all.

Huh. Now I'm imagining time keepers needing to constantly adjust dates and calendars based on small inconsistencies in Celestia's scheduling. and come to think of it given that they seem to set the length of their own seasons they'd have to do some calculations to see how long each of them should last, how long the sun needs to be up each day for each season, adjust the plans when there's ever any scheduling errors...

A time keep would have a rough job...
