I saw few times they tried made Lyra and Bonbon into mothers of some fillies, some people suggested that Sparkler is mother of that filly what she was on picnic in MMDW, I don't remmember more backgroud specifics but only becaus I'm trying to ignore that stuff, there is also fanon of Rarity or AJ being mothers of their sisters, or Twilight in popular fanfic Past Sins (despite that I love that fic or even Twily relation with Nyx).

@Death We're talking popular and commonly accepted fanon here, not strange, niche fanon that no one seriously agrees with even when they suggest it. Though, Sparkler having a daughter isn't exactly fanon, considering the picnic.

I blame disconnected marketing, merchandise, and television divisions. Hasbro's internal corporate structure is quite segregated, even within one franchise. I still like Time Turner far better, anyway.

*grumble* Ponies having multiple official names is all right when it's explained (like with Cadance and Carrot Top being the In-Series Nicknames of Mi Amore Cadenza and Golden Harvest), but it's confusing when no official explanation is given...
