Teeth: Hehe, I wish EqD would see things your way. Regardless, thanks for the encouragement. smile

EDIT: Pagetopper, eh? Well, I saw this at Brony Con and decided I liked it enough for an impulse buy. Even though I don't really have any windows to display it in (I've got it hanging off of one of my shelves by my desk).

Okay guys, I just finished chapter 1 of my new fanfic. The fanfic details 21 stories of the residents of Equestria. Would y'all mind giving me some constructive criticism before I upload it?[1]

If you read past the first paragraph, he explains that that is a stereotype of himself on Tvtropes. Not what he's actually like. He posts in here from time to time. He has some Berserk Button issues but he's an alright guy.

I am feeling great because HOMESTUCK.

I read the first few pages of Homestuck. Doesn't look bad at all.

@ Gex, the link doesn't work for me, also, you'll probably want to post that in the pony fanfiction thread.

@Gex:Glad to hear someone say that most people take a look at the beginning and say it looks like ass. It becomes one of the most epic stories I've ever seen eventually, though it starts out slow.

Btw, your link isn't allowing us access cause we're not allowed. You need to set it up so that anyone who clicks on the link has permission to view.

Keep at it, Gex. It's a lot to get through, but it's totally worth it.

@Blue. Because stuff is starting to happen now or anything specific?

I read all of Problem Sleuth in one sitting, and it took me 5 hours. Not sure if I want to start Homestuck, because it looks really long and I have enough to do.

I liked Homestuck, but the fandom really killed any interest I had in it, unfortunately. I still check up on it, from time to time, but eh.

No, the epicness began LONG ago. The end of Act 5 is pretty close to being the most epic thing I've seen in fiction, Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann included.

It's not everyday you see the simultaneous destruction of two entire universes.

How is the Homestuck fandom, anyway? I've never met an actual fan, and I've only heard about them through the internet grapevine.

[up][up]You've met me and Japanese Teeth and Swasfews. The fandom is a lot like this one really, but less friendly. It's still a pretty good fandom, they tend to ban together to help each other figure out just what is actually going on in-comic.

Some of them have issues with people saying negative things about Homestuck, but then again so does this fandom.

However, this fandom hosted Ginger amicably, more or less. This fandom is a lot better about it. A LOT.

@AHR I know nothing about it, so I have no opinions.

@Blue Sounds nice, I guess.

Question, guys: Is it a good idea to respond to comments your fanfiction gets on Fimfiction?

Oh, and Red Savant, he's a big fan as well.

@Moe: I think you should as long as you don't argue with them.

Well Surprise Days got this one:

woah woah woah. pony war with humans? and they won?! wtf, we have guns explosives and nukes and ponys a quarter of our size beat us? and how the crap did surprise bowl over raydence in fluttershys place? lanky may make him weaker but still, a pony weighing what i can only estimate to be 50 lbs shouldn't be able to knock someone over. also her wings are crippled. i fucking hate slavers

Mane thing that bothers me is that one of his complaints is about a scene that never actually takes place (I don't recall Surprise ever "bowling him over in Fluttershy's house." IIRC, she made threatening poses and he backed up against a wall... oh, and the whole thing turned out to be an act).

I rarely respond to comments myself, unless there's a question or some big issue going on, like when I finished This Nearly Was Mine and everyone was talking about how depressing they thought the ending was.
