I dunno, but apparently the same thing happened back in August 2011.

@DC: I really like this show. If it stays on long enough to keep its promise of a fleshed-out myth arc (and it's getting good ratings, last I heard), I will be so happy.
I think we can be sure that show will be fine, if Disney made accrual cartoon for it's channel they probably let it live for some time (they usually have 3 seasons for show).

Fair, but the actual animation is of superb quality, and the story is looking real interesting. The humour skews more to Cartoon Network than Disney. Which is fine by me.

On the subject of Brony music, it's not that electronic music is more popular, it's that it's easier. You can produce quality electronic music with just software on your computer, while other genres typically require real instruments to produce quality music, and very, very few people can throw together bands to record easily, or are unable to cover all of the necessary instruments.

More people need to know about Snowcatcher, the Irreverant and how awesome she is for that very reason. I's one of the reasons that if Bad hadn't promised to write her story as a fanfic, I'd have done it myself (still happy to help and collaborate though).
An 8.5/10 show IMHO, so far...
Let's see if Season 2 makes or breaks that with Lauren Faust gone, yet the regime behind her hopefully loyal enough to her vision...
Just don't let Chris Savino or Dave Polsky take over and give us somethin' worse than The Buzz on Maggie - or worse than that.
Peace.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I wonder why the acoustic music (and rock/metal) isn't as popular as the electronic music. I like a lot of the electronic stuff but seriously, dubstep gets repetitive. A song that uses piano, cellos, bass and guitars (with some awesome singing to boot) should be just as popular as the electro/house/trance/dubstep/whatever other genres of electronic music there are.
Personally, I like acoustic music better, especially with strings.

Perpetual hit the music thing on the head. Even if had the required instruments you still need the recording equipment. I've never been a huge fan of electronic music.
