On another forum I saw pics of those cards too. Disappointed me that the "Lyra Heartstrings" card actually showed Carrot Top, hope that's just a proto-printing and they correct it in the final run though.

Correct what? What's the error?

Isn't that card a combined Lyra/Carrot Top card? I know the back of it mentions that the two are friends and often share bonbons.

Here's the card I'm talking about◊. The name says "Lyra Heartstrings" and yet the pony pictured is Carrot Top (or Golden Harvest, whatever she's called)

EDIT: My mistake. Just that there's lamp-glare covering Lyra. When I read the actual text, it seems you indeed are correct.

I think I saw a theory like that about Rarity and Sweetie Belle too (we're talking about "is actually mother but claims to be sister" right?)

And yeah, its hard for a girl to impregnate a girl... but then again, these ponies do impossible things at least sixty times a day, so hey, what's one more? Also headcanon: There's a Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo in Equestria, except the only springs it has are "drowned man" and "drowned woman" and everypony has fallen into one or the other. There's the explanation for gender-flips, guys.

Anyway, it would be interesting to know if anypony has children we don't know about. Twilight Sparkle especially (the struggles of studentship and motherhood!) Although, it would be strange if Pinkie Pie had children... borderline wrong, actually.

EDIT: Ugh, silly me. Of course Twilight Sparkle has a child. Just he happens to be a dragon.

I think Cheerilee is pretty much the town's foal-sitter (good thing she has Surprise to help her nowadays, at least in thread-canon)

On the other hoof... now that I think about it, every pony except Pinkie Pie knew what to expect from foals in "Baby Cakes." That evidences my theory: Pinkie Pie is the only grown mare who does not have a kid. (Which is as it should be, as Pinkie is basically a child herself)
