Heck if I know. I hardly even know what my real talents are as it is. I'd still be a blank flank if I were a pony.

I think one of my favorite things about Alvin Maker was the fact that it managed to create an Alternate History in which William Henry Harrison is a really cool villain. Yes, the US president who died only one month into his first term in office. And he still does in this series.

Orion: I've got no idea. I don't really have much of anything I'm especially good at that stands out to me at the moment. maybe something to do with memory, finding things, or cooking. I like to think I'm at least passable as a chef, after all. Possibly some sort of short range psychic or empathic field, I'm usually traveling along the same trains of thought as a lot of my friends or match my timing to theirs anyway.

What I don't get is how the series is a Mormon allegory. Maybe I just don't know enough about Mormon mythology.

@apple: (Assuming you even see this later) if you mean in regards to the whole 'baseline psychic' thing, then Fizzy certainly has some degree of technopathy. I mean, any dude who can make an advanced machine that runs on carbonation...

Mac Guyvering is a good idea too, seeing him build a new gadget on the fly is both a: Really cool and B: A natural extension of his talent already. I'd also guess some degree of Awesome by Analysis, being able to analzye any machine and, possible, figuring out exactly how to dismantle it and build his own version.

It's only a Mormon allegory in the basic premise (paralleling the story of Joseph Smith), rather than trying to actively push the religion or anything like that.

@ed He's responding to a series I was talking about with a near identical magic system to Kegi's recent bit of fanon, not this one.
