Considering that most public libraries are technically government buildings, it stands to reason that any library belongs to the Princess(es). tongue

Doesn't everything under and above the skies of Equestria belong the princess'?

[down]Nope.

Everything's been done. Everything has a meaning. However your life at best is to serve as a building block for others.

You wouldn't happen to know how long we've been aware of the name? Don't bother if it's too hard to find, though.
How long we've been aware would indeed be hard to find, so instead here's how many times it's been named (that I know of, at least):

The real surprising bit for me is that the Princess Luna cards use the version of her from before she returned to full strength, with the shorter, solid mane. It even looks like they pulled out a previously unused vector for the primary Luna card, unless some old box art has her in a flying pose like that.

It doesn't seem to have been used in the toy line or on the official Zazzle & FashionPlaytes merchandise, anyway. (Well, I found what isn't the source of the image; does that count for anything? tongue)

Upon closer inspection, that is the Luna vector used for the Season One Comic-Con poster. In fact, a lot of the cards seem to use the same vectors used in that poster, though certainly not all of them.

[up]So it is!

Just noticed that they used a picture of Rainbow Dash's house for the Cloudsdale card. wat

Maybe Rainbow's house used to be in Cloudsdale, and she just popped the whole thing off and flew it to Ponyville.

I blame it on lazy Cloudsdale architects. Its much easier to just recycle designs.

But then where does her property tax go? I mean she lives in Ponyville but she basically took Cloudsdale's land in order to do if.

That's really lazy. It's not like it takes much effort to build things out of clouds. Literally any pegasus could just throw one together.

[up]Rainbow Dash is a tax evader!

@Blue: I imagine the exact reasoning for that card is: "Meh, close enough."

Really? It's one of my favorites!

Literally any pegasus could just throw one together.

What makes you think that? I expect it takes just as much skill as building a regular house.

@Bluespade, well she's most certainly lazy enough to be one, perhaps even inadvertently.

Cloudsdale is made of clouds, it's probably pretty easy to make more or just grab them out of the air or something.

@Blue: Uh, no. There is a difference between clouds and "cloud structures." I can't just throw a cloud house together using only clouds.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

I wonder if it is possible to make sculptors out of clouds.

In defense of Cloudsdale's architects it would be easy to build a house but its picking up the pencil and then coming up with a unique design for every house that's hard.

Oh, MMDW is with Daring Do? Do we have a good view of the front of the card?

Hmm, interesting how Chrysalis, Discord, and Nightmare Moon are all labeled as the exact same amount of threat to Equestria.

Also, you have to turn Discords card upside down to read it, that's perfect.

it would be easy to build a house

There is no evidence for this.

I assumed it would be easy to make a cloud house because it has been shown that a) pegasi can support their weight on clouds of any size b) pegasi can move clouds around really easily. It'd be like having a material that is completely lightweight, moldable into any shape, and can be split apart or combined together at any time. How could that not be easy?

Lol, Gilda's card has a "Nice Meter."
