Just finished watching PONIES: The Anthology II. Really good stuff.

I can see why some folks wouldn't like the 2001: A Space Odyssey parody, but I enjoyed every drawn-out minute of it. Of course, I liked the original 2001 as well. (It helped that I read the book first. Also, I was pleasantly inebriated at the time.)

Kicked off the lectern at a worship song summit. My hymns all plummet 'cuz church ladies still can't hum it.

I need to read more Discworld.. maybe once I get my new E-reader I'll get a few of the books.

I did read the first few, was convinced I had to read them in some order but I hear thats not necessary?

Also.. since youre here Story. Do the Discworld books go through a slow decay like the Xanth novels by Piers Anthony? The first few are great but they just go downhill from there?

Actually, the first two have Early Installment Weirdness. As for decay, I didn't like Unseen Academicals or Snuff as much but I'm not sure if that's a fluke or actual decay. And Making Money was awesome.

x7 Death's hourglass would be more impressive Rincewind's hourglass would make a nice art piece though.

Sadly Snuff and Unseen Academicals were written after Pterry was diagnosed with Alzheimers but they are still enjoyable books just not as good as his previous books.

Are there any you would recommend to start with?

I remember reading Small Gods.. and one about them discovering some temple and inventing movies with more and more elaborate ways of showing them.. like using talking birds for the dialogue and stuff.

Those are the two I know Ive read, I *think* I read the first one.

I did play the Playstation game by Psygnosis a looong time ago.

I started with the Guards series myself, 'Guards Guards' being the first of those. The death series, starting with 'Reaper Man' is also a good place to being, though.
