@Pannic: I don't know, if you mentally filter out the stupidity and hate, there's some puns of varying quality and some witty jabs. Unfortunately Sturgeon's Law applies more harshly to comment columns than fanfics.

@Sereg The ponies and the zebras got into a war due to some sort of immortal spider god. Eh, the fic was sketchy on the details. Cadence placed a curse on the zebras to punish them. Some of them speak in rhyming couplets (like Zecora) and some of them speak in long, epic poems. Oh, and Cadence ate the spider god's heart and that's why she's an alicorn.

Weird. Then again, I did kind of like the idea that came up a while back that different zebras have to talk in different patterns.

@bad: Yeah, I think that that works for the alicorns.

Another bit of fanon about the Zebras is that it was Discord who made them talk like that for his jollies.

Amazing how Octavia gets a more badass battle theme than Luna or Chrysalis.

@CDRW: I've only gone to church once or twice in my whole life, but I've still heard more choral music than that.

Even still, with a song like that why do you even care if it's religious or not? why can't you simply focus on how beautiful the song is?

Also, no more speed bonus on the equalizer? Well that bites. I guess it kinda makes sense, but it does make it hard for you to get anywhere with low health. I always liked the equalizer as an escape option.
