Ginger doesn't like show that focus heavily on the mundane or the personal, he prefers conflict. When you get down to it, Scrubs is just a (stunningly written, well acted, laugh glory) workcom that takes place in a hospital.

I'm never a fan of Evil doppelgangers when they aren't proper villains. (the Mean 6 are a big exception)
