@Ginger: Did you see my earlier recommendations of the G1 pony stories "The Glass Princess" and "The Revolt of Paradise Estate?" They both have villains who do a lot of plotting (against each other in the former, the villain in the latter is a major Chessmaster type) and the villains are defeated not by the heroes being more powerful than them, but by either a Heel Realization (in Porcina's case) or by their own inventions being turned against them (the Raptorians and Beezen). Also, both stories have Earth ponies being the heroes who save the day through more mundane means rather than having the problems be solved by unicorn or Flutter Pony magic.

To chip into the Engineer Pony conversation: Steamer I can understand being called attractive.

Do you think MLP: FIM will have an episode containing a Drugs Are Bad Aesop? If they do, I hope they approach it carefully, by making it clear that taking drugs, like the ones Zecora provides for ailments, is okay, but when drugs are being misused, then it stops being okay.

I didn't know draconequi praticed religion.

@Crow: -shrug-. I inherited my mother's taste in men on top of my own. Big, dark, muscular... it's a weakness.

Steamer fits my other criteria of being small and soft. Go figure.

@Apple: Think you mgiht have that backwards. If he's doing the humanization, why is it a gift to him?

@Tiggers: They might have an episode about that, and yes, they would have to make sure that there was a distinction made between recreational drugs and drugs used to cure a medical problem. Cutie Pox kind of had that where Apple Bloom taking the potion inappropriately caused her to have the titular disease, but the story didn't actually call it a drug.
