@CDRW: Dororo is available in English?

I haven't read or seen (he owned his own anime studio for awhile) as much Tezuka work as I would like, but I've liked everything I've seen. It's easy to see why this one guy almost single-handedly jumpstarted the anime and manga industry. And a lot of his stuff is still better than anything we have today...

@Moe: Depends on which. Morphine, for example, is easy to get addicted to, and it's a suppressant so it can be dangerous.

I mean your over-the-counter stuff like advil isn't likely to be dangerous unless you're fucking stupid about it, but hey.

Yeah, that's the thing that caught me off-guard about the works that exposed me (Unico and Astro Boy). I went into the latter thinking it would be just a run-of-the-mill shonen fighting series... and what I get is basically a good version of X-Men with robots instead of mutants. Oh, and it began ten years before the actual X-Men comic. Talk about being ahead of one's time...

Unico is about Princess Cadance's early childhood adventures.

The romance isn't even remotely close to the focus in Bones, though. It takes five damn seasons for them to even talk about it to one another, and they STILL don't do anything.
