Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.

Good morning evening, Ace. smile

Thunder again? This will make three days out of the past four a thunderstorm has passed through the area. I like thunderstorms, but not when the thunder is right over my head.

First thing I saw when I woke up:
Having seen ATLA, I would call it overated. VERY overated

... So, me and Ginger are practically the same person now.

In other news, my mind is on the blitz. Literally I can't seem to form a coherent thought. Chickens run goobledygook over an ounce of rain, that sort of stuff.

Made it through the first section of Amnesia and it managed to freak me out a little without anything happening.

Good game.

Are you a bad enough dude to argue with waz? (your chances are better than you think, anyone can win if they use enough fallacies)

Eh. The Zelda franchise is... kind of weird IMO, at least in how it became such a big thing even though its... kind of stock and generic.

I mean, I loved the series up until Majora's Mask and the Oracle games (those are the point where I officially lost interest), but it seemed like the Zelda games IMO were always just a template for a better, competing game. Like it amazes me that A Link to the Past is considered a 16-Bit Classic when it was up against not only Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Secret of Mana on the exact same console, but the Genesis games Landstalker and Crusader of Centy and the Turbo Grafx Neutopia games. Don't get me wrong, I still pull out Link to the Past every couple of years and fall in love with it, but its weird that its elevated when so many greater (admitted subjectively) titles fall behind.

(and Centy was unfairly criticized for being "just a Zelda clone, " even though it actually did a lot of unique and innovative things. That's one reason I think reviewers are full of B.S.)

I once thought Captain Planet was good television. I was so stupid back then.

I guess I just said it.

I've started playing the original Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, and Skyward Sword, but haven't finished them yet.

There I said it.

EDIT: Aw, you broke the chain...

I've yet to beat any Zelda proper besides Ocarina, and impatiently await Majora's Mask 3DS Edition. Embarassingly, the Water Temple in Twilight Princess genuinely made me seasick [lol]

@Blissey: Not if you're strong enough or the pan is heavy enough.

Oh come on, Captain Planet isn't that bad. You just have to take it with a grain of salt.
