Each hive is associated with a different color. The ones we saw were Purple Changelings because they feed on love.

Changelings that feed off of different emotions? Could the Windigos be related to the changelings, then, since they feed off of emotion as well, except they feed on hatred and anger rather than love.

While I liked the Rainbow Factory one best, this new one still put smiles to my face. And I was genuinely eerie'd out by Twilight's dream(?) sequence.

The windigos fed on hate and they didn't seem to lessen the amount of hatred at all.

So no, I wouldn't think so.

I would think that something that feeds on fear would want to cause more... sort of like how a mosquito injects anticoagulants into you when it bites to keep the blood coming.

Wendigos and Changelings were both sneaky. Would the fear eaters be the same or would they make their presence known and directly cause the fear?

To me, them trying to actually do creepiness is missing the point of their own videos. I liked how they just made fun of the ridiculously dark stories that the writers were trying to make horrifying. Plus, I really don't like any of the Mentally Advanced characters other than Rainbow.

@Bad I still think a fear eater would attack ponies in their dreams. It wouldn't hide, but given that it's only appearing in their dreams, ponies would hesitate to call it a massive problem until it started affecting EVERYPONY in town
