@Seraph Well, earlier I did say that I think the virtues natrually mingle with each other, and those who have strong virtues are highly likely to connect with each other one way or another.

I don't think Celestia was particularly accounting for the six ponies being the physical embodiment of the Elements of Harmony, she just needed Twilight to make friends so that they could find and use the elements, and for Twilight's newfound spark of friendship to reveal the missing sixth.

@Pan I don't think Tia was being cold. She knew that they possessed the necessary virtues, knew that they were predisposed to get along with each other, and brought them to Ponyville in natrual ways that were beneficial for them

@Applelight: I'll give you that, but I think that unless earth ponies can't, she's more qualified to bear magic than kindness. Pinkie isn't exactly cruel, but she can occasionally be insensitive (she's still probably kinder than average though).

@Ginger: I know that some people believe that, but I don't think that Celestia did. Celestia is a Chess Master, but that plan had too many ways to go wrong for me to think that she did that without backups. If what you're saying is true, it's more likely that while Celestia planned for things to go as they did, she also ensured tht backup candidates were in Ponyville at the time (admittedly possible, as several Canterlot ponies arrived in Ponyville around the same time as Twilight).
