I don't know how it work in film studies but usually in school when there is analysis of some work it's mean you should turn of your brain and only accept interepretation what teacher telling you. So I'm asking.

We're taught different methods of analysis. The ultimate anlysis paper we hand in is our own work though, on a movie WE chose individually.
