No, I understand, I'm now just pondering how an ability like that would operate since she displays no extraordinary abilities unless it's funny which is normal for a cartoon except she's the only one who can.... Under what specifics does "Comedic Timing" operate as a power?

Or perhaps Pinkie is one of the Few Earth Ponies capable of tapping into their Magic semi-directly and because it can't manifest ins specific or obvious ways like a Unicorn or a Pegasus it's almost an overdrive sort of thing. A Survival mechanism once unlocked, overcompensation for lack of any other ability perhaps. But then why is it context specific?

While i think fluttershy is best pony, i love and tolerate the shit out of all of them

Well, I do appreiate badass normals...there's a reason I play Imperial Guard in 40k...

and of course, you could always say that an earth pony could beat the crap out of a unicorn or pegasus in a straight up hoof fight. They can't all be Rainbow and Twilight.

Which is why Pinkie can sometimes infuriate me, because she isn't normal by any kind of standard, and her wackiness tends to eclipse AJ, who's my personal pic for best pony

I don't know, in the treehouse fight sequence of the latest episode Twilight was handling yourself competently with against 2 earth ponies and a Pegasus...

I am okay with Applejack but feel as though she needs more to her character, or she's mere hard-working reactionary character. She's almost too plain, I want to like her though and she's at least above Rainbow Dash and Rarity for me.

yeah but they were also fighting agaisnt each other and spike helped her.

But I agree with powers Twilight is the most powerful hands down

She has no magic. And she can't fly. And if you say that she has that helicopter thing, Twilight has a BAHLOON. And in my opinion, she isn't even a very good baker. And the other ponies find her annoying.

And Rainbow Dash managed to push her all the way from the store to the farm.
