@Bad Not that I know of. Anthropology is the only really popular fic to work with the concept, to my knowledge.

@Bad Really? I thought most Lyra fics were usually shipping fics. I mean, yeah, the mass of crappy "Human in Equesria" fics probably use it, but are we really going to count that?

I don't really like the "Lyra wants to be a human" fanon. I prefer the idea of her being a Conspericy theorist who belives that humans exist/use to exist, but nearly everypony else thinks of her as weird for it. My preferred fanon is that humans are the equestria equivelent to Big Foot.

Eh, Anthropology really fumbled and lost most of it's momentum and mystery in the second half, IMO. It's starting to get some tension back, but only in a really cliched way.

@ginger Because the human is usually an Author Avatar, and since they want to play with the Mane 6 and be awesome, they'll end up becoming a Mary Sue.

Also, I just skimmed through the first few pages of this thread, and I realized Moe Dantes is one of the first people on this thread. I wonder what happened to the other people?

@ Lurker: And in those fics there always seems to be an aside that Lyra was a bit x, y and obsessed with a mythical creature she called humans (hoomans/yoomans is sometimes used) but Bon Bon still loved her.

@Ginger The quintessential "Lyra is obsessed with humans" fic, only that she's really more of a conspiracy theorist throughout it, which is cool. No real villain until late, though, and I don't care for the latter half.

@AHR I would guess many of them left TV Tropes, and a lot of them seemed to be from the "I have a younger relative who watches it, and I just happen to watch it with them" mindset. Maybe their younger relatives just got bored of MLP and moved onto something else.
