All pinkie did in that episode was gush over and hog all the cider, right?
But she also started off the "gag" of Rainbow not being able to get any cider. She got like ten mugs, then when Rainbow was one pony short of being able to get cider, then Pinkie then essentially rubs it in her face.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
I really dislike Pinkie in that episode as well.

It doesn't need to be used in that way at all. Just use "he" unless otherwise specified.

Just use they. It's gender neutral.

Fuck no. I fucking hate the singular they.
He has this really unique combination of whiny bitch and total psycho that makes him really easy to hate.

Not to continue the grammar war, but that's wrong too. Since the person in question is a singular person, "they" should not be used because it is plural, referring to multiple people.

Unless you're using the singular gender neutral definition rather than the plural one.

Well, to be perfectly accurate, there's been a pronoun invented for gender neutral use: Xe. It's... not taken off as yet, but it does exist.
Oh please. What nonsense, like we need to invent a whole new word to communicate an idea that we already can with the words we have right now?
At what point did English speakers think that there was too much ambiguity in phrases using a gender-neutral "he"?
