The tv tropes page seemed to make the show out to be far more serious, arc-driven, and mature than it actually is.

My first exposure was the old ponified Skyrim trailer, which is basically all the action scenes up to episode 16 strung together, so I tohught it would be a lot more adventerous than it actually was. B Ut I didn't mind.

Well, another update on my liveblog

I am to disappear longer than usual. A nearby power line caught fire so they had to cut the power. My iPhone has a limited data plan, 77% battery life, and I kind of want to use it's final hours for music and audio dramas.

I'll probably be back tomorrow ish after I take my sister to see the Avengers and then I go to a friggin' library. Adios amigos.
