@Story I've been confused by that as well. Moe's used that as part of his "the show is changing for the worse" argument, and while I can see why some people might not like changing tech, it would help if he used an actual example of it, like the train improving or the crane in MMDW.

Why are you throwing exceptions at memory leaks? Seems rather counter productive, considering how common minor ones are in just about any complex application. It's when you start leaking either huge amounts of memory at once or are leaking in an a often repeated process that you start to get problems.

Just slap a GC on it and be doen with it.

Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

@Ginger You know what that clip made me realize/extrapolate/over-analyze?

Lucky is one of the stallions pulling the carriage as a favor for Rarity, his neighbor. Lucky is also Wild Fire's husband/boyfriend (or at least was in the past). Therefore, (assuming the two of them are still together, ) Wild Fire would also be Rarity's neighbor. I doubt she would appreciate Lucky pulling a carriage to Canterlot for the mare next door.

Why do I think about these things?
