Yeah, this show totally doesn't have any great characterization, really intelligent writing for a kids show, an interesting setting, or cute animation.

My boyfriend always tells me about a book he read where the less people that knew a language was the more powerful it was when used to do magic. Some kids from our world got sent to this world somehow, and their knowledge of computer language made them the most powerful wizards in the land. I haven't been able to figure out what book this was though, I've searched for a while.

Couldn't people just make up a language? Especially if programming languages count. Anyone could make one of those.

I used to live in Pittsburgh, Mr. Rogers's hometown. I had no idea he was a national celebrity rather than just a local TV show host until years later thanks to that.

He was so awesome. ;_;
