I'd be tempted to go the Dinosaurs Are Dragons route and call him like Tyrant Lizard King or something.

@Bad the idea is that he insists on calling himself an emperor even though he doesn't actually HAVE an emprie anymore. Just one country.

So Emperor is kind of a necessary part of his name

Names are always the LAST thing I seem to come up with. I still don't have a solid name for my unicorn who's talent is living yet either.

Well let's try to narrow it down. Allspice was a short name, so you'd prefer one that's short number of syllables? And with a sense of encompassing all the dragons?

@Sky she can do anything if she's in mortal peril. (well, not anything, but she becomes much more powerful and skilled at things when her life directly depends on it. She's good at getting out of situations alive)

@Ginger: A survivalist kinda pony? You could always cheatyface and look up name dictionaries. Name dictionaries and cultural nomenclature helps pick out names.

@Ginger: A possibly good name for the Emperor (especially if he is supremely arrogant) is Ouroboros, a traditional draconic symbol of infinity, cycles, and eternity.

Y'know...I was thinking that 'Salty' was too obvious a name for a sailor pony who's big into both salty snacks and scrapping...but sometimes the simplest names are the best right?
