I don't think he's that powerful...

But the difference in their personalities was obvious. If the Mane 6 had gone through the trouble of pretending to still be changed, then I would have bought it.

@Syd He knew what he was getting in to. He's dealt with Trekkies, after all.

Given how far in advance the dialogue is recorded, I figure he recorded his dialogue for Ro H when Season 1 had only aired half of its episodes, at the most. At that point, nobody really knew how insanely popular the show was shaping up to be.

at first I read that as Take Me On and I was like "neato!" but then I correctly read it as Take On Me and was like "oh....still neato!"

I say "this season" because I hope that, somewhere down the line, there will be a big episode where a whole bunch of old villains return and team up.

I can picture Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis and Trixie sitting around a table in a Legion of Doom-esque fortress.

@ginger: Creating life tends to be treated as being on one of the highest power tiers, around or above reality warping, so I wouldn't necessarily expect Discord to be capable of it. Unless he can whip up some mindless drones or something.

He could probably create an army by corrupting entire population centres. He did it to Ponyville. There's no reason to believe he couldn't mind control them to obey him
