I started watching Deadman Wonderland on Toonami and it has an interesting premise. I dont know enough about it to recommend it yet though. the basic idea is this kid is in his class and everyone gets slaughtered, but he survives. They blame him for the deaths and send him to this prison/amusement park where he basically has to perform in order to earn this candy stuff that he has to eat every 3 days or the collar on his neck kills him

Well Ginger, the only thing I really know about you is you like cool villains.

I really have nothing to go on there, since I don't look for anything in particular and often go into works blind.

Might try Fatal Fury (both the OV As and the Movie are on Youtube last time I checked). Geese Howard and Wolfgang Krauser are awesome, although not so much in the anime version.

Right now I'm watching something called Gensoumaden Saiyuki which seems kinda cool. Maybe we could go through it together if you can source the episodes from somewhere.

To be honest, the only anime I actually 100% hate is Dragon ball GT. Seriously, that show sucked big time.

... Speaking as a major Dragon Ball fan... I agree 100%. That thing was like somebody's bad fanfic got animated.

Version Dragonball Z what I watched was crap (french dub, crappy polish translation plus all those annoying things from DB), but alone it wasn't that bad (still not good). Only thing from DB canon I enjoyed were fisrt seasons of DB when they were focused on adventures and colecting Balls.

But Team 4 Stars verion is awesome.

I have mixed feelings about Dragon Ball Z. On one hand, I hate the very prominent use of Demoted to extra, especially in regards to what happend with Launch and Yamcha, and the Sorting Algorithm of Evil got annoying very fast. On the other hand, some of the bad guys were pretty cool, as were some of the newer charectors {Future Trunks, anyone?}, and it had some really cool moments. Fairly good show overall though, I just prefer the original Dragon Ball series.

GT was pretty much what Moe described it as.-_-

@ginger I as said before it not only about futuristic race, it involves some politics, manipulations, fighting, and other various agendas, plus character interaction (mostly focused on Eva relations with Don). Heroes have hard time in each race, especially in those later (many times seriously risking their lives), big bad is active all time, even if we learn about him later. I was really hooked to show when I learned that Humanity could be easly conquered by alien race, and later it become more interesting.

What's the legal implications of making a webcomic featuring the world of Equestria? A webcomic about a pony/ponies basically?

Think it would be ok so long as you arn't trying to make any money off it? Like the way Games Workshop operates with regards to their IP?

@ Applelight: Just add a disclaimer like "My Little Pony and its characters are the property of Hasbro", or something like that. You should be fine. People have done much, much worse things.

@Apple: As long as you don't use it for profit, or if you use it for parody, you're good.

Also, I'm not actually certain how it would work anyways, since you're not a citizen of the country the IP laws apply to, so you're not subject to them... I guess they'd just apply Ireland's copyright laws?
