So I finally caved and watched a few episodes, now I'm in love. I was always more into Care Bears growing up but the awesomeness of my this show is beyond measure. It has a Doctor Who tribute character. What more could you ask for? Speaking of Doctor Whooves, I've got my fingers crossed he gets A Day in the Limelight episode in season 2.
What's the deal with re-using old villians? I think I heard somewhere that certain characters were off limits? Because if we can't re-use old villians I know exactly what needs to be done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81RN3olYIsQ

Though seriously, they might get more little girls watching it if they didn't show it while they're in school

Who remembers this video?
Well, here's the sequel!

Celestia probably did tell everybody to lighten up. Pinkie is the only one who really did.
I imagine she's used to it and isn't going to pressure people to try being less formal than they're comfortable with. Sort of like how even a considerate and lax teacher isn't going to insist that he be called by his first name unless he's weird.

I really don't think the resemblance was intentional. Also, I think that's going to be very unlikely.
Old as hell, bro.

I didn't see it posted on here, and I only found out what exactly it was today, thanks to the misleading title.
If you wish to know, you only need to ask.

I think we're a sort of an accidental demographic, if you ask me. (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, mind.)
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
Again, I'm glad they're not concentrating on the Periphery Demographic (us) and are just concentrating on making a good series. As long as they keep making it good, anyone can watch it.
Yes We Did.

From battle stems rivalries. From rivalries stems respect. From respect stems friendship.
...And friendship is the greatest magic of all.

So in the latest Yu Gi Oh Abridged, there was a moment where there was a theme song-off (or whatever you'd call it), and Serenity got a bit where her's was from MLP. Though since it was only the first two lines, there's no way of telling whether it was suppose to be the old version or from Fi M.
Not exactly the reference I was looking for, but it's something, I suppose.

I wonder if anyone will miss the fact that the music is basically a lounge version of the "Pony Hill" chase music with a bit of "Winter Wrap-up" thrown into the mix.
