When I read, I tend to pace up and down the room with the book in hand.

You get some physical exercise as well as mental stimulation.tongue

Is it pick on Ginger day? Seriously, it's a quirk, but it's pretty harmless most of the time.

@ Sereg: Actually it is. *Pokes Ginger with a stick*

I'm bad at reading. Need to continue in Les Misérables. Mainly problem is laziness and getting distracted. Now, let's see, do I want to read chapter 9 in Fallout Equestria or a sentimental Derpy fic?

My only problem with reading while walking is I don't always pay full attention to what's in front of me.tongue

@Bad Pacing up and down my room seems to be a quirk I've picked up. I sometimes do it without really realising.

As a small child I learned to walk while reading by keeping my surroundings in my peripheral vision. As a teenager I leveled that skill up to reading while driving. As an adult I decided to not be suicidal.

It's not so much picking on him as it is me not realizing that he's not exaggerating like he normally does. Sorry about that.

I pace even when I'm not doing anything. It makes by brain work better for some reason. Drove me nuts in college, I'd go walk around campus, come up with how I'd organize my paper, and then as soon as I actually stopped moving and tried to write the thing I'd turn into a monkey.

Speaking of which, I should probably stop sitting, because I've been doing that all day. See you guys later.

I pace all the damn time. Usually when I'm really bored, though sometimes it happens when I'm exited too.tongue

Ah, pacing. I often end up pacing while thinking as well.

And bye, JT.

I have no trouble reading, regardless of surroundings. My only problem is finding stuff to read. [lol]

Bye JT.

I'm a major pacer. Drives everyone around me nuts. But I need to keep moving. Even if it's fidgeting. I think that I'm better than I used to be though.

EDIT: And bye, JT.

I never pace myself. Closest I get is sometimes, my mind will be wandering, decide I should get up to do something, continue wandering, then forget what it was I got up for, resulting in me going back to my seat.

That's kinda like a single round of pacing, right?

I like walk around room when I'm making up plot of something or worldbuilding.

I'm actually a pretty big pacer myself. Sometimes I satisfy it by taking the train cross-town to catch a movie and then walking home. It's a great way to think of story ideas.

Whenever I focus on something, I move less and less. That's why I never work too hard, because I'll go catatonic.

I find pacing to be helpful in my thinking processes.

I litterally can only think of stuff when I'm walking around. It can make writing sort of a pain.
My interests are as Mayflies. That didn't sound pretentious at all.

Does anyone else apply famous voices to the characters when you read? I do it all the time.[lol]

I pace ALL the fucking time.

I'm pacing right now. I find it hard to breath when I sit still for too long

@Purple I always read stuff in variations of my own voice. Maybe I have too big of an ego.
