What other names would you like to see in this show?

Lauren's ponysona is an alicorn that resembles a mix of Celestia and Twilight, with Celestia's proportions but lankier, and of course, with her hair color.

Actually, Discord doesn't seem the type to call anyone "puny" though. He seems very informal about things, and I don't think he would make a big deal out of how powerful he is.

He's up there with Nobuyuki Hiyama and Tomokazu Sugita as my favorite male voice actors. (Don't get me started on women. Ami Koshimizu...)

Even though I probably wouldn't notice until I saw the credits. I'm pretty poor at recognizing voices that I don't hear too often.

So we're assuming that Pinkie's origin story is bullshit for that to be canon then?

If Weird Al does do an episode I'd like to see him play Rainbow's dad. I just like the idea of her father being an embarrassing goofball. Then she looks at Pinkie and realizes holy crap, I'm dating/friends with a female version of my father!

Yes the Weird Al rumor was discussed here.

Keep in mind location and networking is key. The cast is entirely Canadian with the exception of Tara Strong, who was probably contacted to voice the protagonist because she's Tara Fa-reek-in' Strong and Lauren Faust worked with her in the past. Not sure where Discord's actor was at the time of recording. Plus, production is always on a tight deadline which means they can't go finding the perfect voice in far off states or countries, and often, it helps if the cast members record together in the same room. I doubt anyone in the show knows Vic Mignogna or Tim Curry personally or have worked with them before.

I think she did get her cutie mark via the sonic rainboom, but I'm not sure if the rock farm part of her story is true. It's not that the idea of a rock farm is particularly out of place in Equestria, it's just that in this case the farm seemed to come out of left field compared to the other story's setups, and it sounded like something Pinkie would make up if you asked her: "what's the most boring place on Equestria?"

Anythign what flashback showed is true. Even if PP tells BS flashback would be show up what really hapen.
