Pinkie's antics as usual could range anywhere between annoying and hilarious and I admit the cliff climax seemed redundant against the show's famed teleport abuser but otherwise it was a normal watchable episode.

I've long since come to the conclusion that when Twilight faces immediate personal harm she panics so much that she tends to forget she can even do magic. Why her friends don't point out the proper solution though, is another story. Spike did at least suggest she turn the hydra into a mouse or something but she told him she can't do that and didn't bother to think through the list of spells she does know.

But yeah, coolness under fire is not one of Twilight's capabilities.
