@Crowlover: Whoops, I meant UBISOFT, not Origin.
EA: Butchered the
Command & Conquer franchise and instituted the Always Online DRM in most of their latest PC releases.
Activision: Bobby Kotick is a
monster who should never be allowed near any games I ever work on.
Ubisoft: They push the Always Online DRM nonsense and some of their previous douchebaggery decisions really turned me off them.
Capcom: What they did to Legends 2, the
Mega Man franchise in general, and Keiji Inafune was the last straw.
Currently I root for SEGA, Nintendo, SNK, Atlus and Nippon Ichi, Treasure, GAMEFREAK, Blizzard (At least Always Online Battle.Net DRM is understandable when all the content is serverside and you can seamlessly opt between playing solo or calling in a co-op buddy, also iirc some of the games also support offline Guest Mode without saving progress), Runic Games, and id Software :D There's a
ton of indie game developers I support, although until I have a credit card I won't be able to fund them.
@Syd: If you're not a serious or hardcore gamer, no harm no foul. It's the Electronic Entertainment Expo, and it is a premier source of gaming news every year.
