@Swasfews: The music in the original is good (better than I remembered) but I like the remix better. Has a more steady, consistent beat to it. I like the vocals MUCH better in the remix. Much more fast paced and consistent.

I'm really disappearing now probably, well maybe.

Let me be a troper by picking the three greatest songs, This Day Aria, Winter Wrap Up and At The Gala.

I don't really like At The Gala much except for Rainbow's part, which is awesome. She needs to sing more.

Wow, a lot of people like "This Day Aria". I assume it's from the season two finale but who sings it?

Spoiler sings it, that's who.

It's a duet, the villain and Princess Cadance switch off.

Wait, you haven't seen the final? I thought you were here complaining about it earlier.

Out of the finale songs, I prefer Love is in Bloom. Aria is better than most of the other S2 songs, though.

@Zelenal: Get off the thread and go watch the finale. It's well worth the time.

To be honest, This Day Aria is the only song that I can remember from S2.

The back half of the season has the better music overall.

@Watching the finale: No. I read the synopsis on this wiki and that's good enough for me. You might argue that reading the synopsis isn't the same as watching it but I did that for other episodes in S2 and the opinion I got from the synopsis stuck even after watching it.

When it comes to my fan fic, I'm calling Fanon Discontinuity on most of S2. That's just the way I feel about it.

I don't think I've ever watched anything with multiple music numbers in it aside from this show, but I can safely say that I really do like all of the songs, aside from Pinkie's little 30 second jingles if you count those. This Day Aria definitely wins, though.

@Zel Wait. You formed that detailed of an opinion on the entirety of season 2, and denounced the finale, but you never watched any of it? How in the world could you possibly know whether you liked it or not? This is a visual medium. All of the subtlety that makes this show great is lost of you don't actually watch it. Imagine if you had simply read the synopsis of Season 1 rather than watching it. Would you have enjoyed it? I really don't think you've earned the right to make a judgement on something like that without even trying it.

Smile Smile Smile, I forgot that one. In all fairness the episode was weak compared to the awesomeness of the song.

@ed. Well, the only big songs the first half of the season had were Find a Pet and Becoming Popular. The second half had most of them.

.......................

go

watch

it

no synopsis can give that episode the feel it deserves. even the stuff that sounds the worst is just so GOOD. random Power of Love win...sounds cheesy....that full scene with the visuals..the MUSIC....the overall feel...EPIC!
