I do love how much Havocwing reminds me of the firebenders from Avatar. Right down to the way she can use her fire to fly (fly faster in her case)
@Bad random thought: I was actually thinking of ASOIAF and I was trying to link the types of intelligences found in that series to the Team Evil of CRISIS.
so far:
- Silvertongue: Tywin
- Starlight: Cersei
- Curacao: Littlefinger
- Grayscale: Roose Bolton
- Red Velvet: Ramsay Snow
Can't think of characters for Insipid and Havoc XD

Isn't Volt Tackle Pikachu's signature move? I know it at least used to be.
Is there a term used to describe a type of power/ability/item that's established as being very rare and special in season 1, but as the series goes on said element steadily becomes more and more commonplace?

@kegi: Well the devil fruits come from somewhere near the end of the Grand Line, so it makes sense that as you go further you encounter more people who've eaten them. Still, there are some powerful characters who haven't eaten them, like Shanks and Mihawk.
Cuz I know it happened in Code Geass.
Season 1: Only 2 people have Geass powers, and it's all very mysterious.
Season 2: EVERYONE and their mother (LITERALLY) has a geass

@Kegi It was labeled as a variant of the Human-Human fruit, specifically a Buddha variant. It's like how the Gorgon Sisters both had variants of the Snake-Snake fruit.
I was always a little confused by Sengoku's power. So he can turn into a giant Buddha statue that punches things? What?
