I think the other reason Rarity's my least favorite is because she's simply TOO girly for me

Well, since I'm not a Rarity fan, I'm not entirely sure. I suppose A Dog and Pony Show, simply because of how Rarity totally schools the Diamond Dogs (and because of THIIIIIS IS WHIIIIINING, of course)

I like Rarity because she is, for the most part, just a really good person. She really does want to help her friends, and I mean beyond stuff like "Suited For Success".

I mean, even in "Sonic Rainboom", she was the first one to notice how nerve-wracked Rainbow was, and took charge in finding them a way to go to Cloudsdale to support her. She went so far as to be the guinea pig for a wing-spell that Twilight had never even attempted before, and said could be tricky to get right. How funny that the one who most wanted to help Rainbow was the one who lost track of her original mission so easily (but, to be fair, those were dangerously fabulous wings.

Or "Green isn't your color". Yes, she was extremely jealous and resentful of what was going on, but she knew that she was being that way, and resented it, even though she couldn't stop herself from feeling that way. In spite of her jealousy, she kept herself from telling Fluttershy that, so that she could let her keep doing what she was sure would make her happy. There are quite a few shows where someone in that situation wouldn't be that self-conscious until the end of the episode/aesop moment.

Yes, she does have her faults, but she genuinely tries to be a nice person and, well, I think she does a pretty darned good job of it.

Have you seen her hooves froma front angle? They look eaclty like how one would draw a cartoon marshmallow.

And I guess my favorite Rarity episode is.... Is.... It seems every time my mind tries to come up with it there's this weird mental block going on. I think my dislike for her is somehow overriding my liking for her episodes. That's odd. I need a moment to think.

I actually like Suited For Success, if only because the dresses are hilarious. Green Isn't Your Color was also good.

I fucking hate Real Women Never Wear Dresses, and I don't care if she acted like an annoying bitch to do it, Rarity proves that stupid trope and everyone who still believes it is full of shit.

And yeah, Rarity is a marshmallow. Either that or her forelegs got inflated or something.

@ginger: Scootaloo the chicken is from Stare Master, when Applebloom calls her a chicken.

Fluttertree is from Over a Barrel when she say's she'd like to be a tree.

Bacon haired Twilight is from the first episode, one of Rarity's makeovers makes Twilight's hair look like bacon.

The toothpaste is Colgate, named because her hair looks like toothpaste.

Dark matter Applejack is from Applebuck Season, since Applejack was apparently heavy enough to launch Rainbow Dash all the way across town.

And I have no idea why Pinkie is a kung fu master.

It's Pinkie. There doesn't need to be a reason.
