And yet I remember that when Fluttershy fell for her own variant, people said it was the stall owner who was being unreasonable.
Tealove is best pony.

at that point the stall owner was just confused.
Still say he wouldn't have held to the 10 bits amount and was just trying to haggle, flutershy just did it very very poorly.
on the currency; it's an episode by the writer with the worst grasp of continuity, file it under
Bad Writing and accept it doesn't really work that way.

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
I still don't think he would've really taken all that money from her. He was just teaching her a lesson.
Inside Man. Anyone seen that film?
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Though part of the reason it was subverted was because Peter acknowledged that he was trying to do it immediately after making the switch.
I'm sure Jason would have figured it out anyway.

OHHH that's a GOOD one, yeah you should like it, it is pretty much ALL battle of Wits and
Xanatos Gambit's on top of gambit's
![[up] [up]](https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/smiles/arrow_up.png)
well that depends on just who of the many choices you consider the real villain.

I wonder what my connection speed is. I just got 35kb/s downloading a file, though there's no way to know where the bottleneck is.

Titan A.E. was good. And started with Aliens blowing up Earth. Even if rest would be crap that begging made it wort it.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
I guess I'll go see
Inside Man sometime too. Is it on Netflix Instant?
The quote on the trope page reminds me a little of
Primer.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
@Seraph and who do you consider to be the villain?

Speaking of which, I'm not sure if Ginger would like
Primer. It does have a Battle of Wits, but no clear villian.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I think it's the second one. I like to think that Starswirl invented all KINDS of time spells, but had the secrets to most of them destroyed not long after he initially discovered them.
There are some things ponies should NOT have unrestricted access to
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
there are so many sides, no one side really comes off entirly wrong.
you got the bank robbers
the guy behind the bank robbers
The guy who owns the bank
the influence broker
the city brass
and Denzel's character
only one of those that is unquestionably a good guy is
Denzel Washington's character, though the city brass is more obstructive bureaucrat then anything else

@Seraph Well, that's good enough for me, as log as I have a completely good hero to root for morally

Evening. What's going on?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Speaking of which, I guess now's a good time to promote
Achron again.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Ah movies. I heard Colin watched the Hunger Games a while ago.
He told me the premiss...
