Out of curiosity, ginger, how do you feel about FIM's Rogues Gallery compared to the heroes? Do you root for the heroes or do you have preferences for Discord and the likes?

@ginger: Well done. Scott Pilgrim VS The World is best movie.

I'm pretty sure it's "him and me." It's like when you say "Between you and me..."

Speaking of Lesson Zero, it's time for today's episode of Out of Context Screenshot Shipping Theater.

Thread hop: Remember kids, smoking is bad. Or something. [1]

[up] I thought the love interest was a bitch and the main character was a bit of an asshole, but other than that, it was a really good movie. My problem lies with the characters and not the story or the world or the fighting or the plot or pretty much anything else.

I have waaaayyy too many favorite scenes from that film. VEGAN POWERS!

Like every other billionth friggin' Christmas Carol parody I guess.

I'm sure they'd find a way to put an original twist on it like they've done with everything else.

@Con: It would properly be "He and I", actually.

@Ginger: this is good. Although it's not QUITE my favourite movie - that would be In Bruges. Have you seen In Bruges? You should.

@ginger Well, Scott's wrong.tongue

@condo If "between" were in front, I'd agree with you, but I think it's supposed to be replacing "We"

Like for the sentence: We have unfinished business, "He and I have unfinished business" makes more sense than "Him and me have unfinished business."

well OOTS is availble in print format, plus you could get Start of Darkness, it's one of the print only prequels, it gives you the major villains backstory and show you just how awesome they can be.

I'm a subscriber to the "nothing new under the sun" philosophy. I don't mind Yet Another Christmas Carol if it's done well.

[up][up] But it's at the end of the sentence. This is what makes it a hard case...

Around the World in Eighty Days

One thing I never got. Did the main character actually do the robbery? Either way, he's an idiot.

So, my brother has started watching ponies in his free time. Apparently he is already to Party of One. He only grumbles when I ask him how he's enjoying it, but the fact that he continues to watch it pretty much confirms that he does. Conversion successful!evil grin

As creepy as it is, I imagine a few fans wanting to do that to their toy ponies.
