@Ginger If you want a non-RPG game with an involving plot and characters, may I suggest Cave Story? The basic version is free, and it has great gameplay, amazing music, and one of the most deceptively deep plots ever. Not to mention that the main villain is smart, threatening, very evil, and has cool underlings.

@Ginger Have you played either of the Portal games? I would recommend them as good non-RPG games. And the villain is so much fun.

Well, I stand by my recommendations anyway. Filmation's Ghostbusters and Bravestarr are honestly not among my favorite shows (even if I do admire the company that made them), but I've always had a soft spot for their villains.

Yes I have. GLaDOS is amazing... until she made her Heel Face Turn -_-

But I actually liked Wheatley as an antagonist. He's competent in being incompetent. Which is very interesting.

Dang it, now you've gone and reminded me of how much I wish Equestria was a world in Kingdom Hearts. That would bee too cool.

GLaDOS never made a Heel Face Turn. That whole half of the game was pure Enemy Mine.

The villain, not including the bonus boss, is a Doctor who is the current ruler of the island due to the artifact of power he acquired. He is a Mad Scientist who actually came close to immortalizing himself using a (rather nasty) chemical mix from the Phlebtonium on the island. His goal is to raise an army of bloodthirsty creatures to attack the earth.

@Lurker Still, she wasn't ACTIVELY being a villain to you, so she might as well.

My favourite scene is actually right after she sends you down the chute when she wakes up. You really get a sense of her overwhelming power and it actually creeped me out

The villain is called The Doctor, and getting to know exactly what he wants, and how he plans on going about getting it is a big part of the plot. Just know that he is more or less two steps ahead of you the entire game, and does things that make you really want to take him down.

@Steve Watch the spoilers there, man. Like I said, even finding out his plans is a bit part of the plot.
