The more you people talk about this thing, the more it just sounds like some kind of invincible, boring monster.
@Ace: Colin did say that skill is what makes the difference, not levels. I mean, I was on
Game FAQ and saw the low level guide. In the original, you can beat the game while still in single digit levels.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
@Swa Yeah, it's an
Ensemble Darkhorse. But I'm really not that fond of the thing. There are better
SC Ps out there, like 87, or 173

The hell is with all the numbers and letters?
the fun with 682 is trying to come up with just how specatulary each kill attempt will fail.

he break out from containment 6 time, in space nobody could stop him.
Once he's out of Earth's gravity well it doesn't matter.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
@ginger 173 is bigger ED. And it's beat up 682.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
@ stroy not until reentry.

@Death Really? It can do that?

They didn't launched him into sun because of fear that he can return somehow.

Well, I'm back from seeing The Cabin in the Woods. It was pretty good, I suppose. The best thing about the whole thing? I had the whole theater to myself as there was no one else at the screening I went to. No distraction in the form of people checking their phones or refusing to be quiet, just me and the movie. Good times.

Gully Foyle is my name,

Deep space is my dwelling place,

How does a lizard guide itself in space?
Good question

They'd rather have him were they can keep him observed and know if he breaches containment, then take the risk he could escape and come back without them having any warning.
like why Celestia put Discord's statue in the gardens, sure some other places may have been more secure, but this way she knew the very instant he was free'd

@Lurker Well a lot of the concepts are GENUINELY interesting and scary. There's no harm in it, right?
And I think they don't want to try any method of killing 682 where they can't confirm it's death 100%. It's just too dangerous

@ gingerninja 173 is only thing what 682 is afraid of. And because 173 was first SCP.
So don't compain about 682 darkhorse status if your favorite is even bigger one.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
@ Lurker, same way it regenerates from any wound, duplicates itself when split in half, turns it body into living crystal, leanrs to emit sound waves that make humans obey him, and every other trick he's learned from all the tests.

It really does sound like a massive

at least 173 is consistant

173 just looks silly. I honestly can't see how any of these are interesting. Too much mystery involved, not enough answers. Which is probably the point, I assume.
Has Cabin in the Woods been in theaters long if it was empty?
thrusters...no, some form of gravity manipulation, possible

Yeah, I don't really see how launching it into space can fail, except for
Diabolus ex Machina.
