I don't think that Bruce affected the scepter. If anything, the scepter was affecting them. Though I may of missed something, I thought the plot was to just make them argue and fight each other.

I LIKE to sing, but I'm not sure I'm any level of good at it. Although people have told me they like my talking and reading voice, so singing voice can't be all that far gone.

Course there's the matter of breathing and rhythm and all that stuff. My brother has a good singing voice but he can't breath for shit, so he's an awful singer.

It was heavily implied by the way the camera focuses on the scepter while they're arguing. And yes, I'm pretty sure Hawkeye was tracking it.

@ginger: Eh, it was sort of an implied thing, that's just how I took it.

That's how he was Manipulating them from inside the cell. He just planted enough doubt for them to screw each other over, and that was it for him. He only needed to get close enough to give a few words, the cage was just playing along so they didn't realize he'd tricked them.

Anyway, sorry, I can see why people might consider Hawkeyes' being mind controlled a spoiler, even if it happens really early on. Unlike Harry being a wizard, it isn't mentioned in the trailers.
