We've been seeing Derpy again plenty, even in the finale. Why would she suddenly go away?

Well those episodes were produced before the big controversy.

Again, "Derpygate" didn't stop Derpy from appearing in later episodes. She's not going anywhere.

Word Of God is that she's not going anywhere.

Admitedly Celestia's role is the Team Mom / The Ace, so is likely supposed to kept a bit one dimentional.

A Derpy EPISODE would be interesting to see, would likely be a gamble considering the controversial minute long appearance she had last time though.

Few awesome moment do not make up for so much lame stuff. All that happen because she failed to stop apocalypse (she didn't anything useful during war). And That shield thing was just trap to kill her (and her sister), and transferring into SPP computer was another screw up, because it wasn't connected to Project, I would prefer if they killed Celestia at beginning or before war.

I don't want her supermega perfect, I just don't want her in that train wreck of character state. Mane Cast and Luna didn't suck, so why Celestia couldn't ?

even creators have flat out said Derpy is staying, she just won't ever be more then a background pony again.

I want to see an episode that is nothing but short little skits about random ponies, like that one simpson's episode.

Yeah after the controversy this time, there's pretty much no way she'd have her own episode. If anything I'd like to see Cheerilee or the Mayor get an episode.

I don't think giving Derpy a speaking role again is out of the question. The only thing that won't happen will be her being named on screen again.

also Ginger you will be happy to hear she does NOT just bounce back from this

and again, about Tia nothing she does is incositent with someone suffering that much personal guilt and anguish, while her power my be huge, she is still a pony the events of the war just got far far to much, by that point she was basicly a shell-shocked vertern, even the best soldiers have limits they can not mentally go past, and ponies are almost uniquly UNSUITED to be soldiers.

A villain making a return appearance might be interesting as well (from what has been heard, this may be happening with Discord). Maybe they could even do A Day in the Limelight episode with one of them and make a Villain Protagonist episode.

@story I heard a suggestion for a Big Mac episode that seemed interesting. The CMC get into trouble somehow, and Big Mac spends the day tracking them down, Determinator style. He was tracking them down not to punish them, but to save them from Applejack's wrath.

For some reason with Big Mac in a starring role I see him something like Gromit or The Thief and the Cobbler, a luckless Silent Protagonist whose going through the ropes to reach some goal.

I remember that suggestion. Still, I think they should hold off on a Big Mac or Cherilee episode and give some other characters a chance to shine. And money!!
