As far as HDM goes, first one was okay, second one pissed me off, and third was just "...okay, I guess. That was certainly a book."
For me, I thought the second one was ok, but the third one annoyed me, especially the ridiculous ending.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Okay, I take that back. Megatron was ok in Transformers 1 and Soundwave was a little cool in Transformers 2.
Haven't seen Transformers 3. How does it compare?
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
God, the ending to HDM was terrible. Those angels are the worst. Thanks for saving the universe kids, now fuck off. Sure we could help you, but we'd rather strand you in your own worlds.
What's this "Transformers" thing you guys are complaining about?
They're robots that turn into toys and hang around boring color corrected humans noone cares about.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Honestly I forgot the "plot" for every single one of the movies. Although I didn't see #2 for sure.
Also, it really really really really really annoyed me how the girls NEVER got dirty. They would be in, like, life or death situations and their faces would look like they just came out of the salon. Heck, I was kind of disappointed that they didn't at least get their clothes ripped or something. Sure, it would be fan service, but it just annoyed me too much how clean they stayed while all the men were full of sweat and all scratched up and stuff.
The Element of Procrastination
What's this HDM you're all talking about?

@Ginger Megatron was goaded by the (Shallow) love interest to pull a Starscream on the "Big Bad".
@ginger: His Dark Materials.

Should I liveblog watching Korra?
The intro to the new series seems rather lacking, now that there's no world destroying threat hanging over them. It's so abrupt.
Did Bolin just slide into frame with Earthbending? Or is that Cartoon magic? and I thought Korra was in love with Bolin, not Mako.

Yea HDM had such a downer ending Youre in love but you have to go back to your own world and nevar see each other again ever! Why couldnt they leave a door open til one of em died then close it... whats another 60 years of losing dust?
This Space For Rent!
@ginger: The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. The books with Lyra that we've been talking off and on about for a few pages now.
@Pannic I have no idea what that means.
Don't get clever with me

Ignoring the anvilicious religious elements and the last book, The Chronicles of Narnia is actually pretty decent to read.
