Domie is best Changeling

I think Doomy is a much better spelling because then you can tell how to pronounce it. It took me a while to figure out who 'Domie' was.

The oldest OS that I can remember using is Mac OS 7 (aside from a few run-ins with pre-windows DOS machines in middle school). My family has always had macs around, because that was what my father used for software development.

Eh, each of the popular OS's have their places. Windows has the largest amount of software support and is best for gaming, OSX is stable, clean, and user friendly while housing the best tools for audio and video work, and Linux variants are free and modular, allowing those inclined to get just about whatever functionality they want out of it, so long as they put enough effort into it.

It all depends on your needs and preferences.

Im not super knowledgable about the terminology but as far as I know Win 3.1 was basically just a GUI for DOS.

Funny thing is my boyfriend still runs dos commands using command prompt... he says there are some things that are still easier to do that way than by using the GUI. Dont ask me to give an example though!

Using a command line program is a lot easier with the command line.
