I don't dislike it for the typographical errors. Pretty much every fanfic has typos. It's just a convenient thing to make fun of.

Well, I don't see how you could build upon Tron. It's just a silly science fiction movie. You can't really take it seriously. Pretty much what Kegi said, he's not bad. He's definitely a threat.
And it might just be me, but the CG Iness of him might have been the point. tongue

[up]Well, how many typos are you talking about? Just a few or spread throughout the chapter?

Y'know. Silly fun action might be exactly what the doctor ordered. Hence why I'm reading CRISIS

Eh, not too pervasive, just things here and there. Let me see if I can dig up what I jotted down while reading...

Yeah, I've always been taught that you're supposed to do double space after a period, so that isn't a problem for me. My only issue with the typos is that with the absurd amount of press the fic has gotten, you'd think the author would go back and fix them. I mean, if I had written a fic that was one of the most popular in the fandom (and was getting a print copy), I'd be damn sure to tell people to point out typos. Anything that distracts the reader from the story is a legitimate problem. That said, the typos are hardly ubiquitous, so that doesn't bug me that much.

I dunno if I would consider Tron a villain in the strictest sense though. He's just doing what he was programmed to do

Nope, can't find the thing.

Hm. I've never done double spaces after a period. Not since elementary school.

I don't get why everyone loves Cap so much. The best he has going for him is the Fish Out of Temporal Water bit.

Er, I was calling the first one a silly science fiction movie. Legacy isn't that silly, but I think it's better if you don't take it seriously.

@ Turtle, I was under the assumption we were talking about Clu, not Rinzler. Although Rinzler's pretty great, too.

I was taught the same as Turtle and Teeth. Three spaces to indent a paragraph too.

@story He's a Nice Guy and Humble Hero to the extreme. That might sound boring, but it surprisingly isn't.

@story PLEASE don't ruin it for me.

I get so little joy these days. I like him because he's a nice, honest, honourable hardworking guy who never gives up.

How long ago were you taught? When I was learning Word Perfect in High School back in the early 90's we were taught to use two spaces after a period.

Bah I always get the characters mixed up in Tron... Clu is the one I meant

In general I get human characters mixed up, there just isnt a whole lot different about some of them. Cartoon characters tend to have exaggerated features that make it easier for me to remember them... people not so much.

eh didn't have an issue with that, she just seemed the most boring. her only really great scene was the first one with the Russians.

She seemed that way to me too. I didn't really get the whole Widow/Hawkeye subplot. Did anyone else laugh when she started shotting at the aliens with oridinary guns, while the rest of her team was actually doing stuff?

Regarding TRON: Legacy, I didn't like it, but then again my criteria aren't the same as Gingers.

As far as typos, they were annoying, but infrequent enough that it didn't ruin it. I figured that no proofreader is perfect and they may have gotten tired checking such a long fic.

Cap is sort of... peaceful to watch. He's nice, and a genuinely likeable hero. I guess you could call him easy to watch? I mean, you pretty automatically root for him, and he still gets plenty of external conflicts.

On a personal level I prefer internal or interpersonal conflicts, so my favourite avengers have always been Thor and The Hulk.

Becuase Cap is pretty much THE Hero, he is everything good, and right about heroes, That's why everyone loves Cap he is just so honestly, and humbily awesome. And does it, just becuase it feels right.
