Wow, that trailer sure does give a skewed idea of the show! I mean, sure it does have some epic, good-vs-evil episodes, but most of it is comedic slice-of-life.

well can't really complain about that when we got Through the eyes Of Another pony ginger.

and @ j teeth, IDK I kinda liked that she didnt' angst endlessly about it, right now she pretty much just in shock, hasn't had time for it to really sink in, once she meets up with Velvet again it starts sinking in and she starts feeling it.

@Seraph Now Blackjack in Project Horizons. SHE angsts endlessly... and it gets real annoying, real quickly.

Goldenblood is a massive sue in the sense that he's the shadow ruler of all Equestria. Has his hooves in EVERY project the ministry mares ever started (even giving the mares the inspiration for several of them). Is sleeping with Fluttershy AND acts as a mentor figure to Spike AND intimidates Discord.

WHAT!? Yeah, that sounds like a massive Sue to me. I've only read up to chaptr 6 though, so I don't know about this.

I haven't gotten to where Goldenblood has started being PARTICULARLY sue-like yet. and I know he gets arrested in the end. This is just what I've heard about him. I'll have to see for myself.

When I do like the fic, it's because I like the character interaction... the few villains who've appeared have also been kinda cool, like Deus the Reaper and Operative Lighthooves of the Enclave.

I checked the YMMV page of the fic, and Goldenblood is listed as a Creator's Pet, so, obviously you're not alone in your views of him. Because seriously, I don't see how a character concept that ridiculously wish fulfilling could not be a Sue.

Aaargh! The parts not including him are still good though, right? Or should I not bother reading the rest?
