I definitely would not be able to enjoy Spongebob nowadays.

Amazing how so many cartoon characters relied on being obnoxious and annoying.

I think I'd like FOP though. There's at least some genuosity to it I think.

Oh, and Danny Phantom was awesome too

@Kallon White: I actually liked a lot of the Toon Disney stuff, though I never liked anything on Nickelodeon when I was younger.

Or something like that.

Really, the shows I think I watched most as a kid were the Kids WB things. Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Freakazoid...

@colin I think you'd have more of a problem with Jimmy Neutron. I think Dexter's Lab is a bit more vague on how things work.

I can watch most of what I saw as a kid now. The Nostalgia Filter is strong in me.tongue

Danny Phantom was great. I really need to sit down and watch all the (non-anvilicious) episodes in order.

For a show about a mad scientist there was actually very little Hard Science in Dexters lab.

@Ginger I forget the specifics. But I know a couple of episodes had some serious issues with anvils.

For Nickelodeon, I enjoyed Spongebob, FOP, Danny Phantom, and Jimmy Neutron.

Inertia is a property of matter.

Pinky and the Brain
Pinkie: "What are we going to do today, Twilight?"
Twilight: "Same thing we do every night, Pinkie. Try to take over Ponyville!"
Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay or should I go?

Surprise of the week: Kungfu Panda is actually a really good movie and well worth taking the time to rent/netflix it.

Yeah Kung Fu Panda is a surprisingly solid movie. I got roped into seeing it with my family and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

of course the Amdrag was good, it was made by the same guys who made avatar. Executive Meddling is the only thing that really held it back

I remember as a kid, I completely missed the point of Jimmy Neutron. When I went to see the movie, I complained for ages afterwards about all the scientific inaccuracies. I didn't realize that it was bascially supposed to be silly fantasy.

Yeah. I hated the Art Shift that it went through close to the end of it running. They just made Jake look stupid.

All this talk about Pinky and the Brain reminds me of that interview Pinky's VA did with Tara Strong, and they actually had a small conversation between Pinky and Twilight. Also Pinky-licious. It was quite humorous.

Speaking of Kung-Fu Panda, I actually watched an episode of the TV show the other day, and was thoroughly amused by it. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it certainly isn't a crappy cash-in on the success of the movies.
