Hmmm... That does bring up a good question. What in the world do they have planned for the Season 3 opener? A Canterlot Wedding is going to be one hell of a thing to try and top.

Next major villain will be demigod shapeshifter with some horse elements, who will be defeated because of overconfidence and by power of stuff like friendship/harmony/love

And it will be awesome.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

I would like to see a wraith or an avatar of Night Mare. Somebody whose domain is fear. Or heck a villain in the domain of dreams .

And then the whole fanbase is shocked as the villain is singlehandedly defeated by pinkie. Ginger's screams could be ~~heard~~ felt all the way from the moon.

I'd still like them to go the route of including a more low powered but still incredibly dangerous manipulatve villain. (shrug)

@Ginger That's what they did for the finale. Chrysalis was far weaker than Discord and arguably weaker (pre-love boost, at least) than Nightmare Moon, but came far closer to victory than either through careful planing and a lot of setup.
