We only have 1 minute video of Discord, and already there are 9 pages of fan art on ponibooru. I'm gunna assume this is a good thing.

To be fair, a few pages of that is speculation fanart done prior to his reveal yesterday and a TV meme using said speculation fanart, and some of them since then are just screenshots or memes.

But yes he's been getting a lot of fanart and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet!

Going back to Discord's possible final fate for a moment, I think they may actually "kill" him, but he'll pull off something similar to As Long As There Is Evil. It depends whether they'll present him as a regular creature or a personification of chaos.

Or perhaps, upon being hit by the Elements of Harmony, he'll split up into a bunch of confused creatures of whose body parts he was made up.

it's all the people saying they can't take him seriously because of his appearance. It's getting a little annoying. It's like you people think that a villain's appearance is all that matters.

I agree though that his personality is really cool (in a funny sort of way)

The leaked summary read "a villain named Discord", and it was confirmed that he is going to be male. What's the first thing that comes to your mind?!

I blame Seth for using that OC black stallion alicorn for the article picture when Season 2's description was first confirmed.

I myself was expecting a unicorn with a golden apple cutie mark that was Celestia's student and studied Friendship, but fell to the Dark Side. What we got was much more glorious and I'm kinda glad I was wrong!

Megazord Discord. Hell yeah. Made up from the "Elements of Discord" we have so many theories about. Maybe the final fight of the pilot will involve the Mane Cast using their Elements to Fusion Dance into Harmony!

I excepted some kind of gaseous shapeshifter that may take the form of a black alicorn just to screw with the ponies. Maybe because I thought he will be somehow connected to Nightmare Moon. When I heard the theory that he's going to be a chimera, I though "bah, too obvious". But I guess it is a suitable appearance.
