Hey, red
Bioshock was good purely for the interesting twist on mission objectives
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Bioshock is pretty good. I couldn't play evily. I just couldn't. I'm just too nice
The moral choice system is so shallow that it's practically a deconstruction.
If I ever make an RPG, I plan to create a parody of shallow moral choice systems. At certain points in the game, you randomly come across a puppy. You have the option to either pet it, ignore it, or kick it. Your morality depends soley on these choices. You can get various weapons and skills unlocked if your morality is good or evil enough, but this is purely cosmetic as they have the same stats either way. If you're neutral, sucks to be you. And the main character acts like a complete jerk no matter how many puppies you pet.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
I loved Bioshock...till the end...Bioshock two...eh, not great.
Tealove is best pony.

How is it a deconstruction?
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
@Pan No, it REALLY doesn't
It does always strike me JUST how different I am when I talk about the show/books though. Especially how I find myself enjoying the various evil actions of the villains (like Joffrey) while all the more normal fans honestly hate him...

Bioshock is pretty neat, mind, it just doesn't hold a candle to System Shock.
Just a though I have, but isn't it somewhat pointless to hate someone for their actions who isn't actually real, when their actions are for your entertainment?
I get disliking evil, but that doesn't mean that you should just hate an evil character all together...
The internet is the realm of chaos, but not all chaos is evil.
@Cookoo My point exactly.

The thing is, Joffery is one of those characters you know is going to croak it eventually. The guy makes more enemies then sponges soaking up water.
Spooky.
People hate Tywin too...
I think Tywin is more likeable than Joffrey and Theon and Cersei...
Actually, I might change my avatar if I can get my mitts on a ponified Tywin

True, but still doesn't doesn't mean that you should outright hate them on every level. Some people act like the villain should have never existed in the first place, which would not be good for many stories with villains.
