And I'm not gonna deny that one. I don't think of my pet cat as being my equal, nor did I think the same thing of the cats I had before her, or the chickens I raised as a child, or the one or two puppies I've had in my lifetime. And I'm clearly favoring Ponies in a show called My Little Pony.

And I can't see why that's so morally wrong.

@Moe To Dragons, the sun rises every day, and it sets every day. Why would they even know that said "namby-pamby pony princess" is in charge of that? They'd probably laugh in your face if you told them that, then eat you. And as far as ''seemlessly integrating into pony society" goes, we really have more evidence to the contrary than we have for it. Gilda clearly considered most ponies "lame", and Iron Will was called a "monster" several times, only to be corrected by the more understanding Fluttershy.

And how in the world is Lord of the Rings a good example of your view of things? Men, Elves, and Dwarves were all of equal standing, though each considered themselves superior to the others, and Hobbits were a strange combination of lucky and xenophobic that kept them from interacting much with the "big three", so to speak.

I listen to reason. I just tend to think about things other people are either not aware of, or for some reason don't consider important.

Also, you can't say Equestria is just "one nation" when the ruler of said Nation literally controls the sun. That would be like if God literally existed, walked the Earth and yet people still denied his existence.

And also, guys, saying the other species are just as sapient as ponies:

The very first time we saw Cows they HAD TO BE STOPPED BY A PONY because they ALMOST DESTROYED A CENTER OF HABITATION because one of them was SPOOKED BY A SNAKE. In short, except for the whole "being able to talk" thing they behave 99% like regular cows and have to be dealt with the same way.

Yeah, that would be a bad idea, in no small part because it would be incredibly creepy. A general fetish thread, okay I can see that. A fetish thread about a children's tv show? That's just weird.

@Moe: Given that Celestia was defeated in the finale, I don't think you can really compare her to God. She's really powerful, yes, but not to that degree. I should also note that unicorns could move the sun and moon themselves before Celestia and Luna came along, so it's not like she's a Cosmic Cornerstone or anything.
