Before we completely forget about the whole Avenger thing I have a question for Ginger. In the movie, who are the bad guys? I know Loki is in it but he keeps saying he has "an army" (and apparently Army < Hulk) but what army is he talking about? Is he in cahoots with the Skrull? The Chitauri? Some guys from Norse mythology? Deadites?

It'd be a nice way to end the show.

I will hate to see that final episode, but if it has to end, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I want them to end the series the way they ended Xiaolin showdown... all the villains return and the Mane 6 are there with the elements, epic battle about to go down... and bam its over

@Will I have no idea who they were exactly. I think they MIGHT'VE been the skrulls, but I'm not sure. I don't even think they were named.

Loki kinda just joined their ranks and rose his way up to the top.

And THEN we get The Movie, time skip a year or two, all the ponies are living there lives until some disaster-invasion-event requires the Elements of Harmony to be reunited again.

Who knows? You are famously hard to predict. It has a few great villains, but they tend to exist for only one book, though there are a few recurring ones. The main character you'd probably hate, as he is flippant, a bit smug, extremely smart and powerful, and tends to accrue at least one CMOA per book. He does, however, spend ninety percent of the time getting the crap beat out of him. If you feel like checking it out I'd start with Death Masks, the 5th book, as it has a villain I'm fairly certain you'd love. Though if you decide you like it after that, read the books in the proper order from then on, there is plenty of continuity, even though each plot is stand-alone.

Though realy, I'd like to get a movie before then, cuase I just have this image I SO want to see of the opening, just following Twilight around town, showing off the new styles, changes etc... that happen in a movie, showing us one by one all the ponies in a way that just feels familiar and real to the fans, but also lets people that just watch the movie knew what they are like, without boring the fans, as she goes about her day.

@Crowfall:I'm about halfway through Proven Guilty. I just found myself actually sympathizing and understanding Charity, an event I NEVER thought would happen.

On the subject of dawn, dusk, day, night, and twilight. What's the difference between dusk and twilight, and dawn and twilight.

I reckon in the future, the Mane Six will be like former colleage buddies if they had to seperate. Meet up once or twice year...with letters in the meantime.

I am so conflicted right now. On one hand I know several well known series that decayed after a looooong run (Even spongebob started to suffer in quality past seasons) and want a definitive ending to My Little pony. On the other hand I don't want the show to end.

If they ended the series there would still be several direct to video movies, whose quality would slowly diminish as each was produced.

Actaully Blue..not really, harry's good, but hes' not really all that smart and powerful.

he's not dumb by any means, but he has a habit of not thinking things through before acting, and missing little things till it's to late, he's been outsmarted quite often. And as to Power, he does tend to have a lot of raw magical muscle but even he admits he's NO WHERE near the league of any of the senior council or any major player. Most of his victories are either luck, having friends helping him, or just doing something so crazy no-one can plan for it. see ZOMBIE FREAKING T-REX

Though Ginger will love Nicodemus. And possibly Mab.

Spongebob was suppose to end after the Movie, Nick however wanted more bucks in there pocket...

as much as i do NOT want to see it end, I'd like at least 5 seasons, after that yeah very few shows keep up the quality. But it could last that long easy.
