If we do have a episode dealing with death, it will most likely be about remembering someone who is already dead. Applejack's parents would be the best candidates for that. It's still probably not going to happen, though.
I can imagine them killing off Granny Smith too, though I don't think it's going to happen any time soon.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
They might have an episode about letting someone go though

Hey, I said that!

actually, if they REALLY wanted to do a death episode without killing off anyone we know, they could just explain what happened to AJ's parents.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Also, how the heck could anyone vote Stare Master as least favorite episode?

@story Well, I voted Suited For Success. I figured I was gonna get shot for that one

Because it has the CMC in it... while they were still semi-scrappy
This Space For Rent!
Yeah, I don't get that either. It wasn't the greatest episode, but it's certainly better than some of the other ones that are left.
Yeah, I love Stare Master...it's just a really tough choice...
Tealove is best pony.
Pony Fanon Workshop
@Story I had a hard choice ahead of me. For Fluttershy episodes I liked Green isn't your color better.
I just can't believe Suited For Success HASN'T been voted out yet.
Well, I can, but I can't

For the Round 5 voting, I choose Friendhship is Magic episode 1 again. Unless that's not allowed for some reason. Btw, The Dresden Files is completely awesome.
Element of Dullness.
Actauly, you know what I want the final lesson to be? I want the very last episode to end with the Mane 6 all going there separate ways, RD to join the Wonderbolts, Twi back to Canterlot, Rarity off to some exotic location after hitting it big etc... BUT making it clear that even though they no longer all live together and see each other every day, they are still the best of friends and still make time to get together when ever they can, cuase really, that is pretty much the BEST way to something like this, saying that true freinds will ALWAYS be there for you, no matter how far apart you may be, Friendship is forever.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
@Blue Would I like it?

A death episode could teach the idea that some problems don't have an easy solution to overcome (in this case, mourning).

Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
Instead of just explaining what happened to AJ's parents, they should actually show up and then get killed off. Everyone would be all, "Oh hey, it's Applejack's parents, they aren't dead after all!" *horrible train accident* "Nevermind."
